Integration process for home automation

Every home or office is different. That’s why we take the time to research and design every project according the wishes of the client. Engineering and design is done for every project. With the confirmed engineering and design work all 3rd party suppliers and the construction team can more easily work together to implement the system. We develop a blueprint which takes into account the complete low voltage wiring and networking cables for the mainframe of the system. These blueprints could also include lighting designs, energy management and all other preparations needed to seamlessly integrate every part of the system as requested.

The complete integration process is compromised of three main phases namely Design & Engineering, Pre-wiring and Implementation. The blueprint is specifically designed for the integration of lighting, shades, network, security, gates and garage doors, temperature, pool/spa, A/V and all other controllable services. After the project is completely installed and delivered we offer different after-sales options depending on the clients needs.

Our team is available to aid and advise you whenever you need it. You can contact us for a free initial scan of your project .

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Begin with the end in mind

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Begin with the end in mind

Design and engineer with the end in mind

Most traditional ways of building a home or office don't take into account new ways of integrating and controlling components i.e. network and security. As the cost for automation systems are dropping at a very fast rate many clients don't realize they can easily integrate these systems within their budget. Designing every project with the latest technologies the market has to offer ensures that you get an increased valuation for your building. That is why we think it is important to design and develop your project with the end function in mind. What do you want to  do and experience in each area? How will each area look like when you’re done ? Where will all the cables of your speakers or TV go? These are view of the questions our engineering team take into account when developing the blueprint for your home or office.

Aesthetics

Aesthetics, architecture & Design

It can be frustrating when your home doesn't look as clean as the render that was made before your home was build. This is because specific services such as TV's and speakers were not taken into account during the construction. You end up installing your sound system or TV after the house is delivered. At this point it seems crazy to cut open walls and the ceiling to integrate cables or speakers when the house has just been finished. You end up with cables running on walls and on the ground. For this reason we advise our clients to always take into account the purpose of each area so your architect can make sure the systems you intend to integrate are included from the start.

Blueprint

Our team creates a blueprint on the basis of the project scope as determined by the client and architect. The blueprint is a working document that changes according to technical possibilities and the wishes of the client. After the blueprint has been confirmed and checked by each stakeholder. Changes can always be made during the construction process.

HAS Ready

Your home or office can be considered home automation system (HAS) ready after construction is complete. The client can then decide whether or not they want install all components at once or specific parts of the system. The system we offer is modular in build, so each separate system can be implemented/upgraded whenever the client is ready to do so.

Pre-Wiring

Preparation Phase

Pre-Wiring

Preparation Phase

Preparation & Pre-wiring Phase

This phase starts when construction begins. An assigned project manager will make sure that everything is implemented according to the blueprint of the project together with all stakeholders. During this phase all needed cables will be installed.

Wired vs Wireless

In recent years many plug and play automation systems have come out. These systems are mostly wireless, which is perfect for smaller 1 to 2 room solutions. But once you start increasing the amount of data that is being transferred through the wireless network, your system will give you connection and speed problems. The reason for this is because for example HD or 4K video files are very large and may block other users of the network to even browse or use the network. A combination of a wired and wireless network solves this problem.

Centralized system

All hardware components are routed to a centralized location which can be easily accessible. This also creates the unique opportunity to completely remove all hardware from individual areas expect when it belongs there giving the area a much cleaner look.

Flex brackets, switches and lighting fixtures

Decide beforehand where all tv's, speakers, switches, shades and lighting fixtures will be positioned in the building to save cost and time. Installing the necessary components is important during this stage because the implementation after the ceiling is closed will require cutting, which is not ideal. This is different for existing homes.

Implementation

Final stage of component installation and programming

Implementation

Final stage of component installation and programming

Implementation and Programming

This is the final stage before the system is delivered to the client. During this phase the client can decide the specifics of each service that will be integrated. i.e. for switches the color of the switch plates, for shades the type of material that needs to be fitted. When all the components are installed and tested by our team, the system is turned on. Clients can make changes to the system after the system is turned on.

Hardware implementation and installation

When the building is secure and can be closed, our team can start installing all hardware. During the installation the hardware will be connected to the overall central control system, which in most cases is a specified area in the house. The installation of these products is done by our experienced team according to the specifications of each hardware component. .

Programming

After all hardware has been correctly installed, programming can start. At this stage the client already has specific preferences. All these preferences are taken into account when the system is being programmed. The programming can also be adjusted at a later stage if the client wants add or remove specific control options.

Delivery Programmed system

When all hardware components and the programming are completed, the system can be delivered. At this point the client will type in their new password where they from that moment on become the only people to have access to the system. If changes need to be made the client can contact one of our engineers.

After Sales

After Sales

After Sales

After delivery our team is available for any question, problem or change that needs to be made on the system. Depending on the project the client can get up to 6 months free after sales. Custom made service level agreements are made depending on yours wishes and needs.

Delivery & Payment Options

Every system implementation goes through three phases namely design and engineering, pre-wiring and implementation. In our experience the time from start to finally living in your new home is highly dependent on the time wherein construction is completed. This gives you room to plan out investments over a longer period in time. Most hardware is ordered a late as possible to ensure that you received the latest products available. Our team is available for any question concerning delivery and payment.

After-Sales Agreements

You can decide to extend after-sales services with one year or more. There are three levels which differ from yearly software upgrades to upgrades in hardware whenever this is needed or new products become available. Have the latest technologies installed when the come to market. Replacement guarantees and 24/7 on call service. Please ask our team for more information regarding the after-sales agreements.
